Privacy notice

Last updated: 1 October 2026.

This notice explains how personal data is processed when you visit www.wupevent.com or contact us through it.

Who is responsible

WUP Event is the event activity of WARNING UP SARL, a limited liability company with share capital of €419,921, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 901 153 163, with its registered office at 117-119 quai de Valmy, 75010 Paris, France. WARNING UP SARL is the data controller. Data protection contact: Yannis Weinbach, [email protected].

Contact form

When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, company (optional), the description of your project and the language of the page. We use this information only to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to follow up on a potential project. The legal basis is the steps you ask us to take before a possible contract and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.

Your enquiry is stored encrypted on our server until it is transferred to our customer relationship management (CRM) system, and is removed from the website seven days after successful transfer. In the CRM, it is kept for three years after our last exchange with you, unless a business relationship follows.

To protect the form against abuse, the server keeps a short-lived counter derived from a keyed hash of your IP address for about one hour. It is not used to identify you.

Recipients

Your enquiry is accessible only to the WUP Event and New Vega group staff who handle it. It is processed on our behalf by OVHcloud (website hosting, France) and Odoo S.A. (CRM and internal notifications, Belgium). We do not sell your data.

Audience measurement

Only with your consent, we use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to measure page visits and successful enquiries. We send the page address without its parameters, the page language and a signal that an enquiry was accepted, never the content of the form. Google signals and advertising features are disabled. Google may process this data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier) are set only after you accept and expire at most two years after your last visit, Google’s standard lifetime. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the “Cookie choices” link at the bottom of each page. Refusing does not affect access to the site.

Storage on your device

Your browser keeps your analytics choice for six months and your language preference in its local storage. These entries are needed to apply the choices you made and are not sent to us.

Your rights

You can access, rectify or erase your data, restrict or object to its processing, ask for portability and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to Yannis Weinbach at [email protected] or to the postal address above. You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

We may update this notice when our services or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
